Who We Are

Claire Fisher and Claire Aikman are the directors of The Invisible Assistant. Between them they have over 55 years’ experience in a variety of roles, providing them with the invaluable knowledge, business acumen and expertise to deliver a consistent first-class service to their clients.

The two Claires founded The Invisible Assistant in February 2010 after working together for the same client. They saw an opportunity to fill a gap in the market by combining their individual offerings to provide a full and professional support service.

In September 2014 they moved into a new office at the Southampton Science Park to accommodate their expanding business.

Claire Fisher - Director

Claire started her working career in Finance in the premium cosmetics and marine sectors. Following this she held a senior role in a telecoms company as Group Treasury Manager for NTL (now Virgin Media).

She manages the book-keeping, payroll and debt collection activities of the business.

Claire’s constant professionalism and ability to deliver exceptional results continue to be the main strengths; coupled with her honesty and willingness to adapt to client needs these develop into sustainable business partnerships.

Claire Aikman - Director

Claire started her working career as a bi-lingual secretary for a German merchant bank. She continued working in the City heading up the Presentation Centre for Salomon Brothers’ (now Citigroup) European Investment Banking division, providing a 24/7 service.

She specialises in high-end software solutions around MS Office products and oversees PA activities for the business.

She prides herself on a reputation for delivering a first-class service and building long-lasting business relationships based on honesty and integrity.
