Who Are We
Claire Fisher and Claire Aikman are the directors of The Invisible Assistant. Between them they have over 45 years’ experience in a variety of roles, providing them with the invaluable knowledge, business acumen and expertise to deliver a consistent first-class service to their clients.
Claire Fisher - Director
Claire started her working career in Finance in the premium cosmetics and marine sectors. Following this she held a senior role in a telecoms company as Group Treasury Manager for NTL (now Virgin Media) during a period of acquisition and consolidation of various other telecom operators.
Claire started her own business over 7 years ago initially providing accounting and administration services to a range of clients in differing sectors. These services have been increased over time to include event management and also assisting in setting the strategy for increasing client database numbers. Her clients have included a risk management consultancy, interim recruitment agency and more recently a professional membership organisation.
Claire’s constant professionalism and ability to deliver exceptional results continue to be the main strengths on which she builds relationships with her clients; coupled with her honesty and willingness to adapt to client needs these develop into sustainable business partnerships.

Claire Aikman - Director
Claire started her working career as a bi-lingual secretary for a German merchant bank. She continued working in the City heading up the Presentation Centre for Salomon Brothers’ (now Citigroup) European Investment Banking division, providing a 24/7 service.
Claire became self-employed over 15 years ago and has worked as an IT trainer and consultant and provided marketing and business development services for a broad range of businesses, large and small, in that time.
She prides herself on a reputation for delivering a first-class service and building long-lasting business relationships based on honesty and integrity.
